Day for Kids Will Be a Day to Remember….and It’s Free!
Offering lots of free fun for families during the 10th Annual Pawtucket Arts Festival, the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket will host Day for Kids on Saturday, September 13, starting at 10 a.m., Elson Clubhouse at One Moeller Place.
Day for Kids will provide entertainment for the whole family with field games, arts and crafts, dance performances, art exhibits, face painting, the YMCA’s rock climbing wall, bouncing obstacle course, and much more. Families can explore the Dolores and Frederick Goff Nature Trail. Friends of Pawtucket Public Library present Musician Greg Cooney, entertaining with his lively songs. There will be a Battle of the Bands competition in the afternoon. Free food will be provided at lunch time courtesy of the 99 Restaurant in North Attleboro. Also, The Mix 98.5 FM Ice Cream Truck will be there with free ice cream.
Day for Kids, a national celebration initiated by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, celebrates and honors children and highlights the positive influences adults can have on kids through interaction during planned family time.
The Day for Kids event enjoys the generous support of the Pawtucket Library, The Times and the 99 Restaurant in North Attleboro.
