[3:45 - 5:00pm] Rani Arbo & Daisy Mayhem Wicked grooves, sublime lead singing, great harmonies, sparkling original songs, and a deep repertoire that spans 200 years of American music. Four people who share an irresistible chemistry on stage. An unusually gleeful string band that celebrates both tradition and improvisation and that stumps the categorizers. (Are they an agnostic gospel band? A homeopathic bluegrass band? Are they crazy?). Worth seeing... Click here for more information about Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem's performance |
[2:15 - 3:30pm] Stingy Brimm plays an engaging brand of American roots, blues and world-influenced originals as well as a generous helping of "unplugged' classic blues. Click here for more information about Stingy Brimm's performance |
[1:00 - 2:00pm] Barnacle. Formed in early 2006, Barnacle is a high energy/nautical/early folk music group. The band is comprised of Mary Audette, a flautist/pianist and multi-instrumentalist; Everett Brown, a composer/arranger and highly-regarded multi-instrumentalist; Jon Cannon, an improvisational fiddler; and Tim Reilly, an internationally renowned percussionist/bones player. Barnacle has appeared throughout New England at venues such as the Rhode Island School of Design, Mystic Seaport's Sea Music Festival, Sail Fest and the Windjammer Festival in Camden, Maine.
