Invites Public to 30th Anniversary Dinner
The Preservation Society of Pawtucket will celebrate its 30th year of "preserving the arts of our ancestors" at a dinner-to which the public is invited-set for 6 p.m. on Sept. 12 at the To Kalon Club, 26 Main St., Pawtucket.
A brief presentation entitled "Honoring Our Past, Envisioning Our Future" will precede the dinner. A digital slide program tracing nearly 200 years of Pawtucket architecture and highlighting more than 100 Historic Marker houses will be unveiled at the event.
The Preservation Society of Pawtucket is a not-for-profit community organization devoted to identifying, promoting, and encouraging the preservation of noteworthy historical and architectural resources of Pawtucket, Rhode Island through education, advocacy, technical assistance, and support of economic development that is sensitive and consistent with our mission.
