Filmmaker John Chester's most recent film, Lost in Woonsocket, held its 2007 World Premier at the South by Southwest Music and Film festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas. The film sold out all 3 of its screenings and is now touring the country. In 2007 he was the Executive Producer, Co-Creator and Host of Random 1, an award winning prime time original documentary series on A&E. In addition to several other documentaries Chester is best known for a story telling style that balances heart and humor while delivering a profound level of realism. He heads both Random 1 Productions and South Paw Entertainment Inc. in entertainment feature and television projects, which have included Discovery Networks, ESPN and A&E Television Networks.
While conducting a humanitarian experiment, a group of filmmakers attempt to help two homeless alcoholics get their lives back together. After the series is unceremoniously cancelled, the question remains of how far they're willing to go to help.
