The year is 1998, every video store in America has at least 50 copies of Titanic to rent. The generation known to the world as Generation X is coming to an end. Riche, Joey, Blondy and Roger are living a game of Solitaire. Each card played takes them down a crooked road where the name of the game is take or be taken.

Living a life of petty crime, the 4 teenage youths find themselves breaking into local video stores and robbing them blind.

During the day, these teenagers work in their local Pawtucket video store. At night, they are the subject matter of local Rhode Island radio host who tracks the 4 teenagers every mood. Riche, is introduced to Ruby, a local girl who walks into his life and steals his heart. Everyday, Riche starts to ask himself “where is my life going?”

This question echos in Riches life as every card played takes him deeper and deeper into a lifestyle that he did not ask for.
