Take a moment out of your day to explore your creativity and get in touch with your imagination.  These movement workshops are designed to engage the community and allow for people to learn how to build and create together through movement.  All ages and skill levels are welcome.  You do not have to consider yourself a “dancer” to create and move with us!
There will be morning classes offered for families and children ages 5 – 15.
Afternoon classes will be offered for teens and adults ages 16 &up

*All age ranges are a loose guideline; anyone wishing to participate will be allowed to follow along

10:00AM – 11:00AM – Families and Children ages 5 – 15
11:15 – 12:15AM – Families and Children ages 5 – 15

LUNCH BREAK

1:00PM – 2:00PM Teens and Adults ages 16 & UP
2:15 – 3:15PM Teens and Adults ages 16 & UP

*All age ranges are a loose guideline; anyone wishing to participate will be allowed to follow along

The two sets of classes will focus on the same basic principles and ideas but the exercises offered will vary depending on age.  The morning classes will consist of movement games and explorations while the afternoon classes will have more structured exercises that rely on the participants to consciously choose how to participate.

In both time slots participants will take a moment to connect with each other and let go of the distractions of the world around them.  We will then explore the ideas of creating a “dance” and a story with in our selves and as a group and see how easy it is for anyone and everyone to create art together.  The idea of this workshop is to allow your self the freedom to create and have fun with out the worry or pressure of traditional dance technique and form.
