This adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland allows the audience a front seat for Alice’s journey down the rabbit hole and into a very curious new world. One of the main conflicts in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is the subject of growing up. The story focuses on the anxieties and the mysteries of coming of age as one begins to mature. The madcap characters in Wonderland all help Alice to find her identity as she begins her quest toward being a responsible adult.  As Alice attempts to impose logic on an illogical realm, she faces off against the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, the Tweedles Dum and Dee, the Mad Hatter, two rogue cards from the Court’s deck, and ultimately the Red Queen herself. This 25-minute adaptation relies on these beloved characters, physical comedy, clowning and nonsensical storytelling to delight young audience members while providing a nostalgic trip back to Wonderland for all who watch.
