The concept of ‘ground-truthing’ is directly from the method of map-making; the cartographer is supposed to also walk the map, and that act of walking is called ground truthing. What we’re doing is verifying our view from the ground with what's happening in the map. In this workshop we will map our relationship to the Blackstone through sketches, photos and stories.
