Rhode Island's own chamber ensemble, with a superb string quartet at its core, presents "Where Everything is Music". Taken from Coleman Barks’ translation of the Rumi poem, Aurea celebrates the ineffable connection between music, poetry, nature and humanity, with chamber music, poetry and harmonica improvisations. The one hour concert with no intermission, includes readings of Walt Whitman, Rumi/Coleman Barks, Billy Collins and Linda Pastan; harmonica improvisations of Chris Turner and string quartet music of JS Bach, Dvorak, Florence Price, Charles Ives, and Amy Beach. Performed at the outdoor Amphitheater designed by Morris Nathanson.
